We didn't participate in many of the festivities, but we did go to the parade!
He's so excited! |
Look at all the people! |
Watching the police cars go by first... |
My attentive boy, watching everything. |
He was fine with everything, the police sirens, the car/truck horns... until this big, huge some-kind-of-truck comes by with it's big air horn. It was so loud, I couldn't even hear Eli crying, but I looked at him to see what he thought of the horn... not so happy about it. Josh tried to cover his ears while it was going by, it helped a little bit, and he sat with Josh for the rest of the parade.
Poor sad baby! |
Oh, it's over! |
Cool old kerosene tractor in the parade |
Gettin' a little zoned out (close to bedtime!) |
A piece of candy he "caught" in the parade (don't worry, he didn't really eat it!). |
But he did get to keep this plastic ball they handed out in the parade |
"What do I do with it?" |
Eat it! |
He sees a friend! |
"I know her!" |
